I was invited to Bark in the Park in Wollescote and judged four canine categories.
The popular day out run by Friends of Wollescote Park attracted a large crowd of pooch lovers and had all things hound at it.
I went with Sid who entered the most handsome dog (small breed) section while I went off to judge the most handsome dog (large breed), most like its owner, best child dog handler and best dog fancy dress categories.
Sid and I had a great time at Bark in the Park and I know everyone else did too.
This was a fabulous family event and good fun. I really enjoyed being a judge in some interesting categories.
Sadly, Sid wasn’t a winner in his competition but he’s stopped whining, dusted himself down and is ready to take part again next year!
Many thanks to the Friends of Wollescote Park for a super day.
The best in show at the event was judged by the mayor, councillor Andrea Goddard and her consort, councillor James Clinton.
1st place went to Ivy and her owners Emily and Charlotte Pusey.
2nd place went to Gent and his owner Karen Fisher
3rd place went to Dave and his owner Sophie Duxon
