I spent a fabulous couple of hours being a volunteer barmaid at The Swan, Brettell Lane for their Sausage and Cider festival. Thanks to Aimee Evans who showed me the ropes for the event.
I loved every minute of it!
If you want something to do pop down as its such a lovely pub, great beer garden, fabulous cider and dogs are allowed! They had 17 different varieties of cider on offer, with some interesting flavours such as lemon meringue pie cider and raspberry ripple!
I highly recommend the Hornblower Cider, a chai spiced cider that is my favourite.
Thanks to the team for putting on such a great event and for having me, it was a great opportunity to meet local residents and help out a great local business.
