As always it was lovely to attend the Guide Dogs event in Parliament.
I met guide dog user Philip (pictured) who talked about the difficulties he sometimes faces including being refused access with his guide dog. I wrote to the Black Country Chamber of Commerce at the beginning of this year to urge them to ensure that people who are using guide dogs are not excluded from our local businesses.
I will continue to push for this so that users like Philip are no longer denied access to businesses.
