I met with officials from Dudley Council to discuss improving Lye - focusing on the High Street, brownfield regeneration, and transport connectivity.
Phase Two of the Government's £4.8 billion Levelling Up Fund is due to open soon and I'll be working with local leaders on a bid for Lye.
This is part of a long term plan to regenerate and invigorate Lye – which as we all know, needs proper investment and a determined effort to make it into a place everyone would want to visit or live.
We need to restore pride in Lye – and I know local people really want to see changes. The Levelling Up Fund bid is just one of the ways we can do that.
