It was fantastic to join up with the Canal and River Trust today in Birmingham and hear about the part they are playing in the Commonwealth Games promoting well-being, their barge is moored up in Brindley Place.
The meeting was an opportunity to also talk about the area around the Bonded Warehouse in Amblecote and a shared vision for more improvements to it.
A big thank you to them for the trip around Brindley Place - Birmingham was buzzing! It is clear that these Commonwealth Games will leave behind a lasting legacy.
