I visited Old Swinford Hospital school to speak with and answer questions from the Year 12 and 13 politics students.
I was invited by teacher Andrew Hannah on Friday. I gave a brief introduction and background about how I got into politics followed by a Q&A session with the 29 students.
I talked about the exciting regeneration plans in progress for Lye and Stourbridge High Street, her campaign against knife crime in the West Midlands and discussed how I overcame the obstacles of being a woman in politics and in business.
I also explained about the legislative process and my role as a government whip.
Many thanks to the OSH students for a great time and some great questions.
Everyone was very well informed and interested in how our democracy and government works.
