I went to the town hall recently to watch Side By Side’s performance of the Tadeus Toad – The Spell and the Road.
I am a big supporter of the theatre company charity that supports people with learning disabilities and I enjoyed watching last year’s performance.
This year's play is about a toad who is turned into a human but can only be turned back into a toad if a lady toad kisses him.
While in his human form, he found a way to help his fellow toads by designing a tunnel underneath a road to prevent them from being run over.
After the show, I met up with the cast and crew to talk about the show.
I was blown away by this brilliant and enjoyable performance and I salute the cast and all those who made such a huge effort to put on a great show.
Side By Side is an important charity in our town helping adults with learning disabilities expand on their independent living and life skills through the performing arts.
I was left wanting more but I was told I will have to wait for the next performance. Many thanks to Side By Side for inviting me. I had a wonderful time.
