I attended a Women’s Health Event held at the Ghausia Community Centre in Lye.
The event was led by Jayne Burness, the Health Inequalities Lead for Dudley, Wolverhampton and South West Staffordshire Breast Screening Service and supported by the Black Country Integrated Care Board and Dudley Council.
This was a fantastic event that brought together women from all communities in Lye to learn about what signs to look out for and where to go for help. There were also free health and diabetes checks available on the day too.
I was really impressed with the turnout as the event saw over 100 women turn up for advice and checks.
A huge thank you to Jayne and all the brilliant women who had a hand in organising this event!
