In 2022 I launched my GP Surgeries Survey to hear from you directly about your views and experiences of GP surgeries. 

I would like to thank everyone who completed my survey. I appreciate you sharing your views on this important topic.

From your comments and experiences, I understand the main issues facing local residents when trying to access GP services in the constituency and the challenges people in Stourbridge have faced regarding GP appointments.

I firmly believe that GP surgeries should offer timely and accessible appointments so that patients can see their GP in the way that they want, which is why I have raised this issue with local GP surgeries and in Parliament.

Lion Health Meeting

I have visited Lion Health GP practice to discuss patient care, phone lines and to meet with staff. I spoke to practice manager Wayne Gardner, partner doctor Glenys Wilson and Jag Tomlinson from the Independent Care Board. Residents contact me over concerns they cannot get through to the practice

Today I met with Dr Ruth Tapparo at Three Villages Medical Practice to discuss primary care and their delivery of GP services. I also saw the practice’s new online booking system, which has made it quicker and easier for patients to get GP appointments.
