I was delighted to support a local brewery and pub at an event in Westminster today celebrating the best of British beer.
I met with Emily, who runs Printworks Brewery. Based in Lye, the family business started off as a printing and publishing firm in the 1980s. In 2004 however the family transformed their printworks into a brewery and a tap house - the Windsor Castle Inn. They supply pubs across the Black Country and the West Midlands with craft beers and traditional ales.
The past two years have been incredibly difficult for our pubs. It was fantastic therefore to see a local business based right here in Stourbridge thriving as we recover from the pandemic.
