I am absolutely devastated to hear the terrible news we all dreaded. Like so many across this United Kingdom, I have known no other head of state than Her Majesty.
She has been our rock for seven magnificent decades of tireless service to this country and the Commonwealth. The loss so many of us feel right now is difficult to comprehend and words fail.
I know tears will be shed across Stourbridge, the West Midlands, the country and the Commonwealth tonight because we grieve the loss of a woman who always put her country first and who we respect and admire so much.
