I visited King Edward VI College to be interviewed by pupils for their student paper.
I was asked lots of questions, including about my role as a government whip.
Pupils also quizzed me on making Stourbridge a safe place and I talked about how I am lobbying for a police base in Stourbridge and a response unit as well as hosting a knife summit.
Other items discussed included protecting people from harmful images online and I discussed my work on the Online Safety Bill, and house prices and the situation in Gaza.
As always, I really enjoyed talking with young people who know a great deal and care about the world and tackling its problems.
I had some good questions and plenty of views which are important for any MP to hear. Thank you so much to the pupils and staff at King Ed’s for inviting me. I had a great time.
