Resurfacing the Clockfields Estate Roads

Residents of the Clockfields Estate had endured badly damaged roads for years due to ownership disputes and a lack of action from those responsible to maintain the road surface.

Working with Dudley Councillors Paul Bradley, Pete Lee and candidate Kamran Razzaq, I pushed for the responsible parties to take on the repair work needed to bring the road surface up to scratch and then make sure the council adopts the road network in the estate so that any future maintenance responsibility falls to them.

The roads on the estate have now successfully been adopted by the Council. Work has now begun and the new surfacing of the estate entrance has been laid.

The rest of the estate will be added to the 2024/25 surface dressing programme and I will continue to monitor this to make sure that the work is done.
